Virtually every culture around the globe has an interesting and yummy sandwich-related story to tell. These tasty offerings hit the spot as standalone meal ideas. Even so, you can take them to the next level with a bevy of wonderful side dishes from potato chips and fries to pasta salad and pickle spears. Sandwiches can be as simple as the classic peanut butter and jelly, or they can be as extravagant as our sandwich Chesapeake made-to-order just for you. It’s time to chow down!
The Sandwich Chesapeake
The first extraordinary showstopper we want to tell you about is called the Sandwich Chesapeake. It’s one of our signature sandwiches. And it’s overstuffed, so bring your appetite with you. To make this wondrous creation, we combine our famous broiled crab cake with a generous helping of primo shrimp salad. Then we toast two slices of 12-grain bread and smother it all with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Want fries with that? You got it!
Soft Crab Sandwiches
Another menu favorite here at Costas is the soft crab sandwich. This delightful combination pairs a fried soft-shell crab with white toast. We also add lettuce, tomato, mayo, and fries to complete the package.
Steak Quesadilla
The quesadilla is like a Mexican-style grilled cheese sandwich. Our exquisite spin on this marvelous tortilla wrap features grilled ribeye steak, onions, diced tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, and melted cheddar cheese. Fries and sour cream are provided on the side.
Tuna Salad Wraps
Our tuna salad wrap is another lunchtime staple. First, we take a soft tortilla shell. Next, we fill it with tuna salad. After that, diced tomatoes, lettuce, and Swiss cheese join the party. Fries come with it on the side, so dig in!
The Cuban Press
You might think that with a name like the Cuban press, it comes to us from Havana. These sandwiches are originally from Tampa Bay. We carefully prepare slow-roasted and thinly sliced pork. The meat is then garnished with pickle, mustard, and melted Swiss. We then press it between pieces of 12-grain bread and give you some French fries to go with it.
