The Baltimore Running Festival is back for another year of running fun in Baltimore. The festival features six different events including a marathon, half-marathon, team relay, 5k race, kids fun run, and the Maryland Double, which all take place this Saturday. Not For the faint of heart, competitors in the Maryland double will have had to run a full or half marathon in the Frederick Marathon, as well as a full or half marathon in the Baltimore marathon.
There will also be other events throughout the weekend including the Health and Fitness Expo which begins today at the Baltimore Convention Center. Open to the public today and tomorrow, and free of charge, the expo features shoe, apparel, active gear, and health product vendors.
As the official crab house of the Baltimore Running Festival, Costas Inn will be joining in on the fun with the first ever Costas Inn Crab Eating Contest, which will take place in the Celebration Village, located in Ravens parking lot C. A one vs. one challenge will pit two crab eaters against each other in a 30 minute contest to see who can eat the most crabs. Don’t miss out on the crab eating fun with Costas Inn on race day!
