We live for live music as much as we do crabs. That’s why every Friday in our dining room and bar at Costas Inn Restaurant in Baltimore, we feature a band for you to sing along with as you sip on your drink and unwind from the busy week. We start at 9:00 and keep the tunes going until 1:00am – we’ve got your entertainment covered for the evening. Have some of our world-famous crab cakes for dinner and then stay for a sing-a-long.
We’ve talked before about the health benefits of crabs, but what about the positive effects music can have on the human body and mind? Here are a few fun reasons why we think music matters:
– Feeling blue? Boost your mood with a little music – several studies on the matter have indicated that spinning a few tunes can turn your attitude from bad to oh-so-glad.
– Need a natural pick-me-up? Concentrate better when you turn the beat around. A new so-called “digital tonic” known as Ubrain is said to stimulate activity in the brain by creating the illusion of a binatural beat, which can create a sense of alertness.
– Stuck in a pit of stress? Surveys have shown that people are prone to turn on the tunes to help de-stress in the workplace and reduce anxiety.
We’ve given you enough excuses: swing on by and listen to some swingin’ tunes at Costas Inn Restaurant in Baltimore!
