It turns out “snowquestration” wasn’t quite the crisis the weathermen predicted it’d be, even if March is supposed to come in like a lion with cold, blustery weather. Needless to say, the temperatures are rising. Soon, signs of wildlife will begin to emerge: daffodils sprouting from the soil beneath your feet, birds clamoring to build their nests in trees sprouting new leaves. Before we know it, we’ll be on the cusp of summer, when blue crabs will be in season in Maryland.
Speaking of which, it’s time to get ready for the change of seasons. Rotate the flannel and sweaters in your closet to make room for short-sleeved numbers. Swap out your winter wreaths for floral bouquets. String some lights above your backyard patio and get ready to host a few outdoor soirees.
When you do, order our Maryland crab cakes online. Twist off the cap on a bottle of beer. Take a swig. Bite into the savory, jumbo lump meat, and enjoy the flavor of crab practically melting in your mouth. There really couldn’t be anything better.
